In this webinar, facilitated by ACC's Prevention Workforce Lead, Dr Hala Nasr, attendees will hear from Jono Selu (they/he) and Lesley-Ann Guild (she/her) from the Rainbow Violence Prevention Network as they share personal reflections on what it’s like to work at the intersection of rainbow communities and violence prevention. This kōrero will explore the vital role of networks in supporting violence preventionists with lived and professional experience in rainbow spaces, and the power of connection for community groups doing this work as part of their wider kaupapa.
