2025 Te Puna Aonui renamed The Centre for Family Violence and Sexual Violence Prevention

Te Puna Aonui renamed The Centre for Family Violence and Sexual Violence Prevention in August 2025, after Te Pūkotahitanga Tangata Whenua Ministerial Advisory Board's tenure ended. Te Pūkotahitanga Tangata Whenua Ministerial Advisory Board reclaimed the names gifted to Te Puna Aonui. The Independent Executive Boad for the Elimination of Family Violence and Sexual Violence was known as Te Puna Aonui from 2022 until June 2025.
