About the event

For more information and to register, please visit the event page.

This training webinar is aimed at helping anyone working with children and young people who may be victims or survivors of sexual exploitation to recognise and respond to this issue. The training will cover:

  • what commercial sexual exploitation of children looks like in Aotearoa
  • types of exploitation such as survival sex, grooming, online exploitation, and trafficking
  • risk factors and what to look for
  • barriers to disclosure and identification
  • how sexual exploitation affects tamariki and rangatahi
  • trauma informed practice
  • the current legislative framework.

This online professional development option is ideal for individuals who may not be able to receive specialised ECPAT Child Alert training through an organisation/group but would still like to upskill themselves and engage in the learnings that ECPAT has to offer.

Please direct all enquiries to the organiser.
