While the primary audience for this conference is the public sector, there is benefit for the wider family violence and sexual violence sectors, too.
Some of the programme includes:
- Stats NZ presenting on their LGBTQIA+ stats report;
- Hohou Te Rongo Kahukura presentation on mana-enhancing safe services for Takatāpui and rainbow survivors;
- Rainbow relationships with NZ Police;
- Māori and Pasifika framework for holistic rainbow+ wellbeing;
- Gender affirming model of care for Māori and Pacific Trans and MVPFAFF+ peoples/Leitī in Red;
- A presentation on the alienation of Intersex people in the rainbow communities;
- What does good family support look like for transgender young people in Aotearoa (a presentation on the Project Village preliminary findings);
- Ageing with Pride in Aotearoa; and,
- A presentation from the Human Rights Commission on the changes and challenges to rainbow rights in New Zealand.
