The panellists are:

  • Dr Kim McGregor will speak on her challenges as the inaugural Chief Victims Advisor to Government dealing with significant systemic gaps in the criminal justice system - especially for victims of gender-based violence.
  • Professor Janet Fanslow will speak on decades of work to get family violence on the national agenda, as a health issue, and more broadly.
  • Professor Denise Wilson will speak on the question, 'When will government and local government put mokopuna at the centre of their decision making?'.
