This webinar features Associate Professor Peter Saxton discussing the relational aspects of research with various next users, end-users, and decision-makers, such as policymakers, the community, and the media. Drawing on his experience in public health research, he will explore how to identify what data are useful, the role of collaboration and trust, and framing and research translation. He’ll also raise the vexed question of social license for researchers working on stigmatised subjects and minority populations.
This webinar is part of the Research Impact for Public Good Webinar Series, an online webinar series that explores how researchers can achieve impact through policy and public engagement.
