Police and CYF update memorandum of understanding on child abuse

The Police and Child, Youth and Family signed an updated memorandum of understanding on child abuse on Wednesday 4 August. The memorandum defines how the two agencies work together to deal with the issue of child abuse. The document provides the foundation for: Regular strategic consultation between Police and CYF Shared agreements needed to support national, regional, and local operations Information sharing Consultation on policy developments and initiatives Shared training or other services Management of disputes.
